Rhine kicked off and James Brown moved the Galaxy with some ease mixing pass with run but the drive stalled and Jon Hilbert forgot his previous woes during the season and booted a 53 yard Field Goal to give the Galaxy a 4-0 lead
Rhine couldnt move the ball and had to punt thenFrankfurt aided by a pass interference cal lin the endzone moved the ball to the Fire one yard line. Jonas Lewis sauntered in and Kleinman kicked the extra point to put the Galaxy ahead by 11 points.
Fire Quarterback was sacked as they moved into scoring range and had to settle for a 39 yard Field Goal to claw the game back.
Disaster struch Rhine on their next posession when a snap sailed over the head of their punter and in the ensuing scramble Rhine recovered but Galaxy took over on the Fire 15. Gray wasted no time in making them pay when he lofted a 20yard pass over a defenders head into the arms of Lester for another score.
Another Fire drive stalled with a sack so they had to settle for a second field goal this time from 30 yards.
Frankfurt replied with Lewis riping off 42 yards before Gillespie darted 24 yards to the endzone to practically finish the game as a contest
Fire scored hust before the half time whistle with yet another Field Goal as Indebrugge kicked the three pointer from 27 yards.
Fire drove the length od the field on their opening posession of the second half but disaster struck yey again whe a fumbled snap on the Galaxy 1 yard line led to Frankurt recovering the ball.
Brown then took Frankfurt 99 yards and capped off the impressive drive when Tate rumbled in from a yard out.
Rhines woes continued when they were again in a scoring position but Rolovich was picked off in the endzone.
Kleinmann pushed the Frankfurt side further in front with a 35 yard Field Goal and the celebrations began.
Rhine made the scoreline a bit more respectable when the finaly got into the endzone inside the two minute warning.with Blakey scoring from 5 yards out
All credit to Frankfurt who made the big plays and didnt make mistakes, Rhine looked a beaten team early on and mistakes, especially in the redzone killed them
Frankfurt running back Jonas Lewis was voted MVP with an impressive 126 yards rushing
